I have the fortune to visit this Law group yesterday, and spook to a female lawyer named Dannielle she helped me, and listened to me for an hour, the advise she gave was excellent, I highly recommend them for advise on all legal matters, the cost was at an acceptable price. 10/10

These guys are terrible, they didn't listen to my direction, tied the process up in paper work and then charge me for it all!

They do a top up agreement, where you pay funds into their account which they use as billable hours and then when the account runs low you are required to top it up again, which I understand but what I don't understand is that if there is no funds topped up they will continue to racking up a bill in the background and then demand the money. So be careful they will tie the case up into litigation and send you a bill even if you have agreed to work to the funds in the top account not beyond it!

Disappointed but hopefully this will save someone a lot of money. I retained CFLG (Southport) for almost 2 years. Cost: major issues - they overcharge, estimates very inaccurate and out of range and they refuse to attend any cost enquiries even when clearly their mistakes (after the matter concluded I had to use litigation lawyers to recover some of my funds) Customer service: varies, some are courteous, others are very rude/arrogant. Performance: Their goal is not to protect your interest, their policies (and staff) are way too pressured/focused on profit. My final outcome was favourable due to my circumstances (not their representation and not financially). Initial advice and stages were reasonable but as the matter progressed the performance/expertise/negotiation skills were very poor. I contemplated switching to a different firm multiple times but couldn't be bothered (mistake)

If you’re seeking honest and professional legal representation, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Dannielle Young was my lawyer for a brief time (I’m using an alias on google). Danielle and Collective Family Law have an ongoing partnership with a company called Simple Separation. Knowing of the issues with their services, Danielle continues this partnership.

A lawyer interested in providing professional and quality services would not lend credibility to companies like this, who are (in my opinion) only interested in driving their own profits at the expense of providing a supportive, professional service to vulnerable people going through divorce.

Simple Separation have removed their google maps listing so reviews can’t be provided to them, likely as existing reviews were negative, but this review is for Collective family law.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and responsibility demonstrated by my attorney Amy. Over the course of several months, they repeatedly failed to keep me updated on important correspondence and provide timely advice.

In February, the opposing party sent a letter proposing mediation. However, I only received this information in May—three months later—despite my weekly follow-ups. During those three months, I was left completely in the dark, without any responses from my attorney.

Then again in October, there was another critical piece of communication from the opposing party that my attorney did not pass on to me promptly or advise me on, resulting in significant financial and strategic setbacks.

This experience has left me feeling extremely frustrated and, unfortunately, facing substantial losses due to my attorney’s lack of diligence and communication.

Wilhelmina Hall recently acted on my behalf with regard to a Divorce/Financial Agreement. From the moment I met with her she kindly took the time to truly listen and had my best interests at heart throughout the time it took to finalise the matter. All the while Wilhelmina was very approachable and professional and I would happily recommend her to act on anyone’s behalf as she will strive to get you the best outcome possible.

I don't know how to write this succinctly enough (sorry), but over the last 14 months I've been using the services of CFLG in Brisbane's Bayside. This is due to a very non-amicable breakdown of my 20yr marriage, including two precious kids under 10yrs. Without Christine guiding and assisting me through the darkest and toughest period in my life, I wouldn't be in the positive position that I am now. Christine + CFLG always helped me fight for the best access I could get with my children, assisted on property settlement and actioned my divorce.

I reached out to CFLG from a google search looking for advice on my matter. I spoke to the wonderful Dannielle and was given the clarification I needed from her knowledge. Once I retained Dannielle it was a smooth and easy process and I was kept in the loop with everything going on with my matter. She organised everything from her end with mediation and all I had to do was show up. Not that I plan on needing a Lawyer ever again, but if I ever did need another one for the same matter, I do know that I would be going back to Dannielle and the team for help again!
