Many people don't realise they can start the Financial arrangements as soon as they separate, you don't need to wait 12 months. My situation meant I needed to have definite Financial Consent Orders to protect and secure my own financial situation in an already difficult time. Ayanah was amazing, she talked through everything with me and drew up the draft paperwork and helped me navigate the entire process from start to finish. They are the worst lawyer firm I've ever come across. My wife was ripped off $20,000 as soon as she had her bail revoked Kayla Neilson dropped her like a red rag to a bull. Did nothing for the money & didn't even pass on evidence material my wife provided & ended up with legal aid and a conviction. I wouldn't waste my money & time. They charged $4,000 for a Psychiatrist to see my wife once who suffers from Bipolar and for some reason took her off of medication she'd been on for years, she now has great difficulty getting back on those medication because of one session with a Psychiatrist who spoke to her once. The report he wrote was not tendered to the court. It was my wife who was assaulted and only defending herself in the front door of our unit. We had CCTV & none of this was presented to the court the alleged victim lied. Our car was smashed with a baseball bat and the CCTV showed her with a bat. Never knew that trained people like a solicitor could be so incredibly incompetent. We pleaded not guilty and both spent time in remand and in the end both ended up with legal aid who said well you've done some time you'll go home today took another 6wks for pre sentence reports. Don't waste your hard earned and if you go there and they want to give you Kayla Nelson run, as she needs to ask a barrister for help and then the price gets tagged on to the bill with out your knowledge stay as far away as you can find some other law firm
