My family recently had to change solicitors and have their wills and paperwork transferred to a more capable lawyers office. Anita was unprofessional and rude to several family members. There were several mistakes in the paperwork at her end which resulted in 4 people needing to go back again and sign amended paperwork, but even that couldn’t be easy. Appointments to add a single signature (to fix her mistake) was a 4 week wait. That is unacceptable. When this was pointed out after several mishaps, she became short tempered and dismissive. I realise with her arrogant and unprofessional letter to our new lawyer which she included with our paperwork she won’t be able to help but respond to my review. It’s just who she is. She cannot own her mistakes, or apologise. A bit of humility can go a long way.

I was looking for someone to help me update my will and make sure everything was properly taken care of. Anita at John Hall Lawyers was recommended to me by a friend. Although it’s a long drive, it was worth it. Anita was efficient, professional, and thorough.

Have used John himself previously for a house purchase and my will and had a great experience. In wanting to update my will, I decided to use the firm again. This time I was severely underwhelmed. The customer service from the receptionist was lacking and very disappointing, to the point where I will now take my affairs elsewhere.

If you are after conveyancing than perhaps this is not the most affordable place to go to, highly inflated rate. Overpriced and lack of communication was very disappointing. Also... understandable that businesses close for the Christmas period, but at least leave a note on the office door or a phone greeting advising customers of the extended closure would have been appreciated.
