Absolutely horrifying ! Please reconsider setting foot near these people!!! We have had so much difficulty dealing with this very unprofessional firm. Sending cheques to wrong banks & using incorrect bsb details just to make a few grievances. We have attempted to call and get updates all the way through this probate which is now going past well over a year with hardly any contact from staff at all. If we have been contacted they are dismissive and rude. We have been so distressed by the lack of communication and errors by this firm after the loss of a dear family member. I would never wish the treatment they have given us on anyone. Absolutely heartbroken that we have trusted this company, we have been treated so poorly and it has caused us so many sleepless nights. I urge you to look elsewhere from the bottom of my and my family’s hearts!

Needed a lawyer/conveyancer for the purchase of a new property. Lees & Givney were recommended by my brother who had used them for a similar purpose. I found their specialist conveyancer excellent. She was knowledgeable, helpful, easy to communicate with and I felt like I had someone looking after my interests. Happy to recommend them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Told Ms Lees the situation. In return was ripped off. She charged about 1K for 1.5 hour meeting. Been ringing for several weeks, emails and calls were ignored, no decency to communicate. Eventually was told she's going on leave and most likely not take the case. If didn't want to take the case should have mentioned at the meeting instead of leaving me dangling. Wasted time and effort. Dishonest and disgraceful, only interested in making money from you. I would strongly advise not to waste your time with this firm. SHAME ON YOU

Its a shame I can't rate negative stars. My Dad's will was kept by them; made the dreadful mistake of asking their advice re its execution. They provided an exorbitant quote for a very simple will, then when we declined they sent an even more exorbitant invoice, and would not release the will to us until it was paid, so so we had to pay out of pocket. Opportunists of the highest calibre.

A workmate suggested I should use Lucille for redoing my will. I had looked at a number of online will kits, but some things are best left to a specialist!

Difficulty following basic client instructions which cost us financially. The licensed conveyancer at this firm appears to have difficulty comprehending the conveyancing process and certainly did not act in her clients best interests in our case. We will certainly be using one of the many other firms in the same local area for any future matters.
