I have thought long and hard about writing this review but I genuinely don't want anyone else to have the awful experience I have had. Dealing with Nolan Lawyers is one of the most awful things I have ever experienced. I am used to dealing with lawyers both personally and professionally but nothing like Nolan; these people are heartless and awful. On the eve of a trial in the family court they told me that unless I pay in advance I would not be represented. I told them there must be some mistake because I already paid the full estimated amount of the trial into trust and made clear that any additional payments would some time. Nonetheless they threatened on Friday afternoon that I would not be represented on Monday morning unless I made additional payments. They also stopped any correspondence with my direct legal team so the preparation for the trial was disrupted. At one of the most stressful and awful times in my life - I felt like I was being extorted. I genuinely didn't have any way of paying, I put all the money I could on my Amex or a combination of cards. I was distraught at the time. They had no empathy, they had no consideration for my circumstances. I was appalled that anyone could act this way.

I commend Bree Staines of Nolan Lawyers for high quality, practical legal support in family law property matters. Bree helped me navigate my way through difficult family law property proceedings and was ultimately able to negotiate a fair settlement that allowed both parties to move on with their lives without recriminations.
