Took over $5k to write and send a few letters for me. 18 months later some had been written but were unrelated to the complaints, they refused to do the job, kept the money and my files and tried to charge me more money. Rudest receptionist I've ever encountered, even getting a return phone call was hard work. I was left feeling they had protected the abusers and ripped me off, they are yet to return my money or files.

I came to PCL because I had signed a personal loan agreement with someone where I agreed to loan them 5k to help fund their nightclub event in exchange for 7k back to me after the event had finished from the profits. During my initial consultation with Roland I made it clear that I know the most I can get from taking legal action is 7k and that I didn’t want to proceed with legal action if it was going to cost more than 3-4k once this was agreed upon I paid almost $500 for a letter of demand to be written which to be fair was a good letter of demand no complaints. After the debtor didn’t pay in time I had to reach out to the lawyer which he didn’t initially respond to my messages but then replied via email basically saying it may not be smart to pursue legal action with the costs of the next steps around 6k. I feel like if this was going to be the case then he should have let me know from the first consultation instead of making me pay $500 for no reason.

Brad was outstanding while supporting me with my purchase. He was patient, proactive and clearly has a very strong relationship with the local community. Appreciate all you did to support the journey and how simple you made the process even while I had limited access to communicate.

I was disappointed with the service provided by this firm. In my view, the lawyer appeared unprepared and did not demonstrate a genuine interest in progressing my matter beyond the initial meeting, which incurred a fee of $1,340.00. Upon reflection, I believe the matter should not have been taken on by the firm, as it seemed misaligned with their capacity or willingness to engage further.

Additionally, I have noted the firm appears resistant to constructive feedback, which is reflected in their responses to negative reviews and follow-up communications. Whilst I acknowledge that every legal matter carries inherent complexities, I do not believe that the service I received justified the cost, and I would be hesitant to recommend this firm based on my experience.

I had Sang dealing with our HIA Contract and after receiving really bad experience with another law firm. I can assure you that this law firm is beyond fantastic. I contacted PCL lawyers about conveyancing work and after speaking to one of their lawyers (Brad Mayberry), made my deposit of a large sum of money then silence and weeks of it. All my calls, emails, texts, and messages via their 1300 completely ignored for weeks on end. I eventually did receive a phone call, however, he showed up completely unprepared plenty of um’s, ah’s, and flicking through the document. I then politely offered another week but unsurprisingly he made the decision to not bother showing up. I then received an invoice for a contract review which is a document that I have not received. To be clear the only document that I have received is an invoice for a document that I have not received. I have also contacted them countless times to close the account and have the remaining trust funds returned yet no action. We’ve now clocked 2 years of silence. They now sending harassing emails about services never requested and matters I have nothing to do with.

I have had a terrible experience with PCL Lawyers, this was an absolute scam. I talked with a certain lawyer named Joanna and she asked me to provide documents without getting back to me as well as taking my money beforehand without letting me refund. When I tried contacting her countless of times they said she apparently wasn't available each time. When I asked reception if I could speak to the head manager I was not even transferred to them so I could complain. This service is outrageous and has not even benefitted me in the slightest bit. All they did was charge me with no further assistance. Do not go to them.

I recently had cause to use the services of PCL Lawyers regarding a Deceased Estate. The support and guidance I received not only from Phillip but the whole staff, was incredible. They demonstrated their professionalism and expertise in completing the process in a timely and efficient manner.

In short I would recommend PCL and Brad Mayberry for conveyancing. I had an initial call with Brad that explained the process and pricing. I received a follow up email with these details. I didn't pay any fees until settlement. Brad was quick to respond to emails and messages. Also, there can be pressure from Real Estate Agents to gets thing done or commit offers. Brad reviewed contracts and responded with advice in good timeframes. After a Building inspection showed a house had significant issues, Brad quickly got me out of the contract. When I settled on a property, everything was seamlessly sorted and stress free experience. PCL provide a document of the fees and what is covered under the standard agreement and what's not. I found Brad personable and affable, it is great to speak on the phone and talk through issues.

PCL provided intentionally misleading information to attain me as a client (with a large upfront fee) and were then of no assistance.
