I approached Rae & Partners as an international student wanting to buy a property and dealt with Amy Cawston. Unfortunately, I was never informed that every call and email would be charged, which led to a huge unexpected bill—even though the property purchase didn’t go through. I was very disappointed with the lack of transparency. If I had known, I would’ve limited my enquiries. To make things worse, I received an email threatening to mark me with bad debt if I didn’t pay, which could impact my future. I do not recommend this service at all

I couldn’t recommend Louis Benjamin enough. I had a matter that needed urgent attention that arose at 5pm on Australia Day Eve. With Australia Day being on the Friday I wasn’t expecting a response until Monday. However, Louis not only responded but actually did the work which was required on Thursday night. Which resulted in me getting the relevant documentation at 9pm Thursday night.

I have no hesitation in recommending Louis in the future!

Absolutely shocking and disgusting Ashleigh Paige! Women and children have been killed due to family violence! Did it ever occur to you that when a victim is calling around looking for HELP for a family law case that's involved family violence perhaps they might be scared, worried broken down or strained? For all you know a woman could be calling from a hospital bed, or has finally gotten an opportunity to seek help from a lawyer and then they get you on the end of phone. Despicable. . Nobody should have to deal with being treated like dirt on your shoe Ashley especially when inquiring about a job that your firm would be getting paid quite handsomely for..To turn around and be vindictive just because you were told you were being rude speaks volumes about you. I bet you're just sitting back sneering reading this message because you'll just continue to go on treating people the same way! Rae and Co how can you advertise on your website you are 'Advocates for Change' When your assistant is treating the very type of person that would need advocation like scum, that's not even worth her time or worth listening to? Then the woman at your front desk also hangs up when you're called back to complain about the assistant? Do you allow your employees treat people like this because it's a small area and you can get away with it because there are slim pickings?

Extremely rude and disrespectful! Called and spoke to an Ashley Paige about potentially using their services and for one- she would not let me finish a sentence, and would go ranting on assuming she knew what I was going to ask! When I told her she was being extremely rude, she hung up on me! I called the front desk to complain - I really wouldn't think that the senior lawyers or the owners of the firm would want potential clients turning away because of a rude assistant, and Ashely had emailed the lady at the front desk to tell her " we can't assist you". So law firms can't assist people, because the assistants are told they are rude by potential clients? Good to know. Service starts at the front door. With such a disrespectful and rude assistant – I can't imagine what the actual lawyers are like to allow something like that. To treat someone who could be possibly handing over thousands on top of thousands of dollars for your services in such a degrading manner is shocking. Especially considering legal matters are already extremely stressful for people! I'm glad Ashely, that you revealed the true colors of what's going on at your firm before I gave you people even one dollar. So it looks like you did me a favor. If you hate your job so much, that you're going to be nasty when people call to make inquiries – people in highly sensitive situations- you should look at getting a new job. Get some training in sensitivity and bedside manners.or just common human decency. It's very sad you're such a miserable person. Shame on you .

If I could give zero stars I would beware of Amy, she makes a $1400 quote go to over $4000 and most of the time has no idea what and who she is talking about For example after being told the clients mother passed away she still asked for her signature

I can’t rate my experience with Rae and Partners highly enough. Molly Peters was recommended to me to handle the purchase of my new property after she handled the purchase/sale of my Mum’s. She made the entire process easy and took the stress and worry out of buying a property for both myself, my partner and my Mum. Molly clearly talked through all of the details and kept me updated on the dates without me having to ask at all. Will be going back to her in future for anything legal.

Got to work with Courtney as well as Mel with myself purchasing a block of land. Couldn’t fault either one of them, was willing to chat over the phone or to book appointment for me to come in and chat and go over paperwork. I swear they work 24/7 as they always replied to my emails no matter what day or time it was. Even when finalising my block the week of Christmas when everyone was about to shut for holidays, they made sure everything was complete and I was all set. Would 100% recommended these two with no fault.
