Corey Cullen is seriously my hero when it comes to the justice system. I was in a position where it could have really gone wrong for me. I Personally didn’t think I was gone home that day with certain statements, false statements made against me. We went to trial and Corey cross-examined the plaintiffs and a lot of the charges were dropped or downgraded. I walked out with slap on the wrist. Not to mention this trial was a 10hrs drive there and back! He seriously went above and beyond. Words can’t describe what he did for my life that day.

I’m writing this on behalf of my brother who is a man of few words when it comes to writing (even though he sure does like a chat over a round of golf). I just wanted to thank Corey Cullen for his support, expertise and compassion in what was a complicated case at a challenging time for my brother and his family. The outcome was what we all hoped for, but it was never guaranteed. And for that, we cannot recommend Corey highly enough.

Cullen Lawyers, simply put the best👌🏼. I was a client of Steve's, he came highly recommended to me from a close friend who coincidentally was facing lighter but similar charges to my own. I was a little hesitant being a long distance client living in Mackay (1000km away) but honestly the process was way easier then expected and apart from some court attendances, I never had to leave my living room for our discussions. Being a person that had never been in an trouble with the law to be all of a sudden having to face court for a crime I did not commit was obviously a very difficult stressful & anxious time for me. Steve explained in detail the process of the proceedings , what my criminal charges were I was facing & any other questions that I'd spring on him. I can honestly say that every time I got off the phone after a discussion with my solicitor he had somehow managed to calm my anxieties down and focus on what I/we needed to focus on at the stage of proceedings. My Case/Charges & The result : I was charged with 2 counts of assault occasioning bodily harm in company & 1 count of common assault . Steve is a straight shooter, so whilst the police were holding all the case evidence for a time it was difficult but I respected the fact that he wouldn't discuss the possible outcomes before receiving evidence from the police. However once he had received everything, I saw someone that truly cared about my case & outcome for me, I felt like he really did believed me & he fought hard for my justice and I am eternally grateful. My teenage daughter had been getting badly beaten up sporadically over a course of 2 months. My daughter & I had been to the police for assistance for this obviously but they had done nothing and the situation was escalating. The final incident and where i became involved & resulted in me getting charged, a car load of these teens jumped my daughter. I did run after them to tell them to stay away from my daughter as I was scared for her, the teens then all assaulted me also but they reported that I'd actually assaulted them which was a completely false allegation. However The police came and arrested & then interrogated me, I told the police exactly what had happened, I had video evidence of the bashings my daughter had endured. I was scared genuinely for my daughter & only trying to protect her which the police were failing to done , but they chose to believe these horrible group of kids statements that didn't even match each others over my own. Steve maintained that the investigation & case the police had against me was not up to standard & Through private conferences between my solicitor Steve & the police prosecutor he somehow managed to have all assault charges dismissed as long as I was willing to take a infringement notice for public nuisance. Obviously I was elated and I accepted immediately. I need to highlight: This was all before my matter had been actually heard in court only mentioned (police still currently investigating) so the matter stayed in magistrates court but the charges discontinued/dismissed once it was finally heard. An unbelievable result as my case would have gone to trail in a higher level court had it proceeded because I was not going to plea guilty. This man saved me months if not upto 2 years of my life having to deal n fight in court & at the very least $15,000 being able to get this matter resolved the way he did is just wild & unheard of...... He is an absolute rockstar solicitor and if you want someone that will not only look after you & is easy to deal with but not overly expensive then choose Cullen Lawyers. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would - thank you once again for everything
